Hello, Tacoma!
I'm a (relatively) new person here in this fair city and am finally working at a job I like. There's an upside to this: more pay, and a downside (kinda): I have to wear make-up every day. So, since my Mary Kay lady is all the way back in Kansas, I was hoping I could turn to you guys for help!

Anyone have a Mary Kay lady in the UP or Puyallup (I travel there a lot) area that might be looking for a new client?

Thanks for your help!

I'm getting married next summer and would like to hold the ceremony at a local park. I recently had this vision of getting married in front of a huge weeping willow tree. So tacomans, I ask you, are there any public parks in Tacoma and surrounding areas (Puyallup, Steilacoom,Federal Way, Fife, Lakewood ect.) that have at least one big willow tree?

Hey Tacoma, anyone know if there's a fee to be married by a judge?

Hey everyone!

I'm looking for a trustworthy mechanic. Specifically someone who will be good to my '98 Honda Civic that has just shy of 286,000 miles on it. I'm going on a  pretty big road trip this summer, and need to make sure my car will make it. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Neat combination right? If you don't know: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Towel_Day and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hitchhiker%27s_Guide_to_the_Galaxy

I'm trying to find a local business which might be amenable and preferably has an aesthetic which would go along well with the whole Hitchhiker's Guide theme for my party. Preferably where alcohol is served, but definitely open to a place which might be the perfect fit otherwise.

We'd have about 10-15 people and likely want to do this around 7 PM to 10 PM.

Any suggestions out there? I just don't know that many quirky places in Tacoma.

A box containing my birthday presents was stolen from my front porch at Pine and N 8th some time between Wednesday evening and Thursday. If you found any festive wrapping paper or boxed gifts strewn about the vicinity around that time, I'd love to know.
